Editorial Team
Overview
All articles published in Canadian Respirology Today are peer-reviewed by at least two members of the Editorial Board in a single-anonymized process. This means that while the reviewers will know who the author is, the reviewers' comments will be anonymized and the author will not know who the reviewers are before publication.
The editorial team reviews all submitted manuscripts for alignment with Canadian Respirology Today's aims and scope as well as its publication criteria. Articles must fully comply with the journal's ethical policies to be considered for publication.
Canadian Respirology Today welcomes submissions from members of the Canadian medical community. The editorial team may on occasion solicit manuscripts from authors on specific topics of interest, in line with the editorial direction of a given issue.
Editorial Board
The Editorial Board is comprised of established clinicians with extensive experience in the field of Respirology. Members the Editorial Board are selected to ensure a diversity of opinion and breadth of scope, and are invited at the recommendation of their peers on the basis of deep subject matter expertise and comprehensive publication records in the field.
Members of the Editorial Board assist in determining the direction of the journal and will evaluate the scientific content and quality of all manuscripts in a single-anonymized peer review process.
Editorial Board members shall disclose any relationships or activities that may bias their review of a manuscript and shall recuse themselves from reviews or editorial decisions that pose a potential conflict of interest.

Mathieu D. Saint-Pierre
MD, FRCPC Respirology
Dr. Mathieu Saint-Pierre is a Respirologist at Montfort Hospital and a clinician-researcher at the Institut du Savoir Montfort. He is currently the research director for the Department of Medicine. He is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Ottawa. He operates outpatient Respirology clinics at Montfort Hospital and in Orléans, Ontario (Orléans Cardiopulmonary Group). His research interests include respiratory physiology and pulmonary function testing, obstructive lung disorders, and the overlap of lung and cardiac disease. He has had several manuscripts and abstracts published, and he is frequently solicited to act as a reviewer for well-known Respirology journals.

George Philteos
M.B.B.Ch., MSc, F.R.C.P.(C); D. ABSM
Dr George Philteos is a respirologist and sleep specialist at Lakeridge Health and Durham Institute of Respirology. He is the principal investigator for Dynamic Drug Advancement Clinical Research Center and his research interests spread from severe asthma, COPD, Chronic cough, to ILD trials. His clinics operate in the Durham Respiratory and Sleep Center, the Ellesmere Sleep Center and Sleep Wake Sleep Center. He has contributed to the development and presenting of CME activities, chairing respirology journal clubs and the development of guidelines.

Dr. Sacha Bhinder
HBSc, MD, FRCPC
Dr. Sacha Bhinder is an adult respirologist in Toronto practicing at the Scarborough Health Network Centenary site, the Toronto Lung Care Clinic, and the Heart Health Institute. After having completed his MD degree, he went on to pursue training in Internal Medicine and a fellowship in Adult Respirology, all at the University of Toronto. He is a lecturer in the Division of Respirology at the University of Toronto and Education Lead for the Division of Respirology at the Scarborough Health Network. He is active in primary care and specialist continuing medical education at local, national, and international levels. For the Scarborough Health Network (SHN), he has served in a number of leadership roles on the Corporate HSMR, Palliative, and Quality of Care Committees; as the Co-Chair of the Corporate Medical Education Committee; and as the Corporate Chief and Medical Director for the Department of Medicine. He has also represented the SHN as their education representative for the Toronto Academic Health Sciences Network.
